If there‘s only 5 exercises you do before summer...

The 5 fitness must do's to gain Miley's Bod:
1.       Sumo squats (30 x 5, 4 times a week)
2.       Walking lunges with hand held weights, (50 x 2, 4 times a week with 2.5 kg weights)
3.       Cardio, (40 minutes 3 times a week)
4.       Weights, (60 hour session once to twice a week)
5.       Sit ups,  (40 x 3, 4 times a week)

The above list is the recipe to success. Yes it is hardcore but with only three months or less till summer (even though I feel it’s already arrived with the warmth of spring awakening us each morning) you need to start upping the ante to eliminate any unwanted areas that bring you down, bikini season is approaching!

Miley Cyrus may have questionable hair of late, but the girl owns a rocking bod. She achieved this much sort after look by sweating it out day after day. How do I know this? Paparazzi snapped her 14 days in a row hitting the gym and also taking on lengthy jogs. Very inspirational, she set her mind and was able to transform her body into a toned and strong frame.

The first exercise I’ve listed to allow a quick body transformation are sumo squats, they are fabulous for burning fat around the butt, inner and outer thigh and also the fat that can deposit above the knee. Sumo squats are particularly good as they are more heavy impact due to the widened stance and the lower position of the squat.

Walking lunges also offer all of the above but also target the hamstring and allow blood to circulate removing built up toxins. These toxins also help to create cellulite, something we don’t want.
Cardio is one of the most import exercises you can do, it allows for an elevated heart rate which pushes blood through the heart and all of the body’s arteries. This will not only shed fat fast, but it will mean you have a healthy respiratory system, essential for complete health.

Weight training I believe is the best way to lose weight. A lot of girls are scared to touch weights in the fear of looking like Arnold Schwarzenegger. This is a fallacy! It will not happen! Weights will allow you to trim fat but in turn, take said fat and replace it with toned muscle. That enviable body featuring a pert bottom, firm arms, hard abs, and toned legs? It’s come from weights, so don’t be afraid to grab a bar and include heavy lifting into your fitness regime. If you are a beginner, the best place to start is at a body pump class at your local gym. You will learn all the proper techniques and will enjoy the group moral.

Lastly sit ups, very important if you want to strengthen your core and the muscles that stretch from your inner stomach to the back of your spin. Crucial if you want that flat tummy and great posture. Hello sexy!

Below is a regime I have created to show you exactly what you would have to tick off to be on this fitness haul. You could always make a few swaps or up the ante, but this is essentially what you are aiming for. The above quantities (i.e repetitions and sets) are listed above.

Hypothetically your workout regime should look like this:
